HopHopa VPN — Privacy Policy

1. Overview

HopHopa VPN ("we", "us", "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

2. No Account Required

HopHopa does not require registration, login, email, phone number, or any personal information. You can use the app immediately after download. No personal data is collected at any point.

3. Data We Collect

We collect the absolute minimum needed to operate the VPN service:

• Anonymous session token — a random identifier generated on first launch. It is not linked to your identity, device, Apple ID, or any personal data. It is used solely to authenticate API requests.
• Subscription status — whether your session has an active premium subscription (a boolean flag). We store the App Store original transaction ID to track subscription validity.

We do not collect:

• Names, emails, phone numbers, or any personal identifiers
• IP addresses or browsing history
• Device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV, etc.)
• Location data
• Usage analytics or crash reports
• VPN traffic content or metadata

4. How We Use Data

• The anonymous session token authenticates your requests to our server list API.
• The subscription status determines whether you receive the free or premium server list.

We do not sell, share, or transfer any data to third parties.

5. Data Storage

The session token is stored locally on your device in the iOS Keychain. On our server, session records contain only the random token, subscription flag, and timestamp — no personal data.

6. VPN Traffic

HopHopa does not log, monitor, inspect, or store any VPN traffic. We operate a strict no-logs policy for all network traffic passing through our VPN servers.

7. Third-Party Services

The app uses Apple's StoreKit for in-app purchases. Apple's privacy policy governs their processing of purchase transactions. We do not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

8. Children's Privacy

The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
