Delete your FirstGym account
This page explains how to delete your account in FirstGym by Aleksandr
Zhbanov, the gym voice coach app for iPhone, Apple Watch and Android, and
what happens to your data. Last updated: 30 September 2026.
In the app
Android:
- Open FirstGym and sign in.
- Open the More tab (the Settings screen).
- Under Account, tap Delete account and confirm.
iPhone:
- Open FirstGym and sign in.
- Open the More tab, then Settings.
- Under Account, tap Delete account, confirm, and confirm
with Sign in with Apple when asked.
Deletion in the app is immediate and cannot be undone.
Without the app
If you no longer have the app, send an email to
support@zhbanov.com
from the email address of your FirstGym account (the one of your Apple ID or
Google account) with the subject "Delete my FirstGym account". We may
ask you to confirm the request from that address. Requests are processed
within 30 days, and we reply when the account is deleted.
What is deleted
- your profile (display name, units, level, goal, weekly target);
- your workout history: sessions, sets, reps, weights and form-check
scores;
- your program progress, favourite exercises and the machines you have
used;
- usage analytics events linked to your account, and, when you delete in
the app, the events recorded on that install before sign-in;
- your subscription status record in FirstGym and your customer record at
RevenueCat, our subscription provider;
- on iPhone, FirstGym's Sign in with Apple access is revoked;
- the app's data on the device (session, caches, downloaded videos and
coach audio) when you delete in the app.
If you delete by email, we cannot revoke sign-in access for you: you can
remove FirstGym yourself in your Apple ID settings (Sign in with Apple) or at
myaccount.google.com/connections.
What may be kept
- Encrypted nightly database backups: they are kept for 30 days and then
deleted, so your data disappears from them within 30 days.
- Anonymous aggregated metrics (for example, how many workouts were
started per day) that cannot be linked to you.
- Request counters used for fair-use limits: a number per day or month
stored under an internal id, without any profile or workout data.
- Purchase records that Apple, Google and payment processors keep under
their own policies and the law.
Subscriptions are cancelled separately
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought in the app
store. Cancel it yourself so you are not charged again:
- App Store: Settings > your name > Subscriptions >
FirstGym > Cancel Subscription.
- Google Play: Play Store app > your profile picture >
Payments and subscriptions > Subscriptions > FirstGym > Cancel
subscription.
